Egret and Redfish
There is no secret that when you see fish eating birds be it pelicans, egrets, cranes, gulls or any other feathered friends there is going to be fish around both big and small. Today I had the great experience on the water watching snowy white Egrets wading and following some nice redfish in shallow water. They literally were an inch behind these swimming redfish. The redfish were big enough they were not afraid of being eaten.All I had to do was find an egret walking then look in front of it and there was a redfish tail and dorsal fin slowly leading the way. It was truly some magical moments in time this morning on the salt marsh. Cheers to the Snowy White Egret and Redfish that made it happen!
